
From July 8 to 13, the Museum of Kyoto hosted the JAPAN-KOREA Craft Exchange Exhibition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea.
This exhibition was held in conjunction with the EXPO2025 OSAKA,KANSAI,JAPAN1. It was co-sponsored by the Kyoto kogei Association2 and the Korea Crafts Council, featuring works by approximately 130 masters from both countries.

The Korea Crafts Council was established in 1973 and currently has 656 members in five categories: metalwork, ceramics, wood and lacquer, dyeing and weaving, and glass.
This time, 66 artists from among them are exhibiting their works at this exhibition.
In addition, 63 artists from the Kyoto Kogei Association also exhibited their works.Among them, five were Kogei Art KYOTO exhibitors.
