We recently received an inquiry from a Belgian guest who had seen the Kogei Art KYOTO website via a Japanese travel agency and wanted to interact with artists and appreciate their works during their trip. As the guest’s travel itinerary was already fixed, it wasn’t easy to coordinate a schedule. Still, thanks to the cooperation of one of the Kogei Art KYOTO artists, Ms. Toki Hata, we took seven customers to her studio.
At the studio, Ms. Hata explained about her Yuzen-dyed kimono works, and we spent about an hour watching the production process and touching the works. After that, we also showed them the works of other artists at our gallery.
Kogei Art KYOTO also offers optional tours for inbound customers, where you can interact with artists and appreciate their works. インバウンド向け、オーダーメイドの工芸見学ツアー
先日、Kogei Art KYOTOのウェブサイトをご覧になったベルギーのお客様から、日本の旅行会社経由で、旅行中に作家と交流したり、作品を鑑賞したいというお問い合わせがありました。 お客様の旅行日程がすでに決まっていたため、日程調整が難しかったのですが、Kogei Art KYOTOの作家の一人、羽田登喜さんのご協力により、7名のお客様を彼女の工房にご案内することができました。 工房では、羽田さんが友禅染めのきもの作品についてご説明し、実際に制作の様子をご覧いただいたり、作品に触れていただいたりと、約1時間の時間を過ごしました。その後、弊社のギャラリーにて、他の作家の作品もご覧いただきました。
